Despite proclaiming a devotion to sound environmental policy and adopting climate change as a center piece of her campaign for the White House, it is apparent those affiliated with Hillary Clinton’s crusade to win in November don’t share her enthusiasm for protecting their surroundings when Mother Nature calls.
A bus campaigning for Clinton was spotted in Lawrenceville, Ga., carelessly discarding human excrement into a storm drain on Tuesday.
Images seized of the incident clearly show pictures of Clinton and running mate Tim Kaine on the recreational vehicle.
Georgia law prohibits the dumping of sewage from recreational vehicles, camper trailers, and other holding tanks onto the ground.
According to police reports, an employee at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lawrenceville witnessed the bus pull up in front of the store and a campaign worker exit the bus. The employee’s account went on to indicate the campaign aide removed the sewer cover to allow the excreta to flow into the storm drain.
“It’s just wrong,” said Mike Robbins, manager of a Lawrenceville business. “I don’t care who you are. I don’t care if you’re Hillary Clinton. I don’t care if you’re . I don’t care who you are, you don’t dump human waste down a storm drain.”
Police and fire units responding the the smelly scene described dried toilet paper and a revolting odor emanating from the area where the bus had parked to unload the human waste.
An investigation into the matter has been launched by the Georgia Environmental Protection Department. The act is illegal, not to mention unhealthy, and in sharp contrast to Clintonian political positions.
The DNC issued a statement apologizing for the incident:
“This was an unacceptable mistake and we apologize to the Lawrenceville community for any harm that was caused. We are taking corrective action with the charter bus company to prevent this from ever happening again and contacting local officials to determine the best course of action.”
Apology aside, this act indicates DNC employees don’t think much of the citizens of Lawrenceville.
Editor’s note: Story has been corrected to indicate the bus in question is a DNC commissioned vehicle and not directly associated with the Clinton campaign.
