DNC hack shows they were backing Clinton with the media’s help

A hacker known as Guccifer 2.0 has revealed that the Democratic National Committee was biased in favor of Hillary Clinton all along. The DNC hack backs up Bernie Sanders’ claim that he was being intentionally undermined.

A document obtained from the DNC hack dated as early as May of last year states “our goals & strategy” are to “provide a contrast between the GOP field and HRC.”

The full documents are available here, but screen captures of the documents are available on Twitter.

Even more disturbing was the expectation of collusion from media outlets in the DNC’s plan to push Hillary.

In one of the leaked documents from the DNC hack, there is reference to prepping reporters for interviews with Republican candidates.

“Working through the DNC and others, we should use background briefings, prep with reporters for interviews with GOP candidates, off-the-record conversations and oppo pitches to help pitch stories with no fingerprints and utilize reporters to drive a message,” the document reads.

Bernie Sanders had claimed that outlets like CNN were pushing Clinton talking points and ignoring his positions.

Sanders has claimed that the Democratic Party is faltering under Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s leadership of the DNC and has called for her to be removed.

“There are lots of valid reasons to question Schultz’s leadership, including how the DNC conducted itself during this last primary election season,” Sanders backer Ben Jealous, former head of the NAACP, told The Post. “However, what is just as concerning is how the party has performed in general under her leadership.”

In April, Schultz fended off allegations of bias in an interview on The Daily Show.

“You know, as powerful as that makes me feel, I’m not doing a very good job of rigging the outcome,” she said. “Or… blocking anyone from being able to get their message out.”
