WikiLeaks will release more Clinton emails, guarantees indictment

Australian journalist, publisher and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange admitted on Sunday that his investigative website is preparing a trove of emails sent and received by Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton while the former First Lady served as Secretary of State.

“We have upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton . . . We have emails pending publication, that is correct,” Assange told ITV’s Robert Peston.

Declining to describe specific topics or contents of the emails, Assange only stated he found the subject matter to be of such a sensitive nature an indictment would be merited.

However, Assange said no such indictment would occur because he believes Attorney General Loretta Lynch would never bring charges.

A fierce critic of Hillary Clinton, Assange orchestrated the creation of an online, searchable archive in March; the database contains over 30,000 emails and attachments.

The 50,547 documents obtained from Clinton’s private email server between June 2010 and August 2014 contain 7,570 documents Clinton personally sent.
