Trump tweets offensive remark about Jeb Bush’s wife

Donald Trump is at it again. The Republican presidential candidate retweeted a belligerent remark regarding Jeb Bush’s wife, Columba. Columba was born in Mexico, but legally entered the U.S. in the 1970s, and became a naturalized citizen in 1979.

“@RobHeilbron: @realDonaldTrump #JebBush has to like the Mexican Illegals because of his wife.”

The tweet was quickly deleted, but Twitter users were able to create a cached version of the comment.

A press aide for the Bush campaign responded by saying, “It’s not surprising Donald Trump deleted his offensive tweet. As Governor Bush has said, Trump’s comments on immigrants were wholly inappropriate and not reflective of the Republican Party’s views.”

Trump just cannot seem to keep his mouth shut, or his hands off the keyboard. After he called Mexican immigrants criminals and “rapists,” business associates Univision, NBC and ESPN all cut ties with the billionaire.

So far Trump has managed to alienate Latinos, major TV networks, and many Republicans.

We can only wait and see what large section of the voting bloc Trump will infuriate next.
