Christie aide expected to plead guilty in Bridgegate

A former Christie aide is expected to plead guilty Friday to charges related to the closure of the George Washington Bridge, also known as Bridgegate.

David Wildstein, a former official at the New York and New Jersey Port Authority official, would become the first person convicted in the investigation into the September 2013 lane closures, which were allegedly carried out as political retribution. Other people will face federal charges as well, those law enforcement officials said.

Christie was a GOP front-runner until this mess. It does seem he has put it behind him, but I doubt the debate moderators have.
