Hillary Clinton is in

Sunday afternoon Hillary Clinton announced the beginning of her second campaign for the Democratic nomination for President.

“Everyday Americans need a champion. And I want to be that champion. So I’m hitting the road to earn your vote — because it’s your time. And I hope you’ll join me on this journey,” said Clinton in her announcement.

Clinton has been preparing for this run for two years at least, since she left her job as Secretary of State, but some would say that since she lost the nomination to Barack Obama in 2008 she has been getting ready for another run.

In order to win the nomination, the Clinton team has begun a vast fundraising campaign which has stated that at least $1.1 billion will be needed in order for her to win.

Clinton is already off to a big start. Her PAC, Ready for Hillary, already has 3.6 million supporters listed in its database.

Her Republican opponents are already mounting their assault against Hillary.

Prospective GOP candidate Jeb Bush tweeted the following shortly after her announcement.
