Monday morning two individuals rammed the main gate at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, the headquarters of the National Security Agency (NSA).
One of the individuals involved in the incident, which occurred around 9 a.m. this morning, were shot and killed by an NSA police on the scene and the other was severely wounded.
Associated Press is reporting that the two individuals who rammed the gate were men dressed as women.
In a statement the FBI did not believe that the incident was related to terrorism.
“We are working with the US Attorney’s Office in Maryland to determine if federal charges are warranted,” said the FBI.
According to WH Deputy Press Secretary Eric Shultz, the President had been briefed on the incident this morning.
CBS News reports that the police have found cocaine and weapons on the scene.
