6 out of 10 young Republicans support marijuana legalization

In an interesting turn of events, Mary Jane might have just found her most unlikely of allies. According to Pew Researchnearly two-thirds of millenials with an (R) next to their names favor marijuana legalization. Not just medical, nor decriminalization, but full-blown Cheech and Chong or Jesse and Chester legalization. That is 63 percent of 33 year-old Republicans, or younger, support pot legalization. Surprisingly, that is versus Democrats 77 percent. This massive uptick has truly made the marijuana legalization debate almost a dead heat.
